Welcome to CJ: Special Topics!

This course will expose the student to current issues within the criminal justice area. These are issues faced by criminal justice and private security executives or administrators today. Solutions are not easy but the course will focus on research, exchange of information with peers, and discussion of possible solutions to meet the particular organization or global environment of the student.

The student will be become familiar with the theoretical and practical approaches to the issues. This foundation enables the student to view issues from various perspectives and state substitutive opinions.

During the progress of the course, students will also become familiar with the use of long distance technology to meet and resolve issues.
